Our family began knitting Aran sweaters in 1965 and we have been the custodians of our craft ever since. We create Aran knitwear that has been worn down the ages throughout the West of Ireland and the World, a heritage that stands the test of time, an icon of Ireland. We are passionate about keeping our craft alive and showcasing this unique and natural product to the world.

From humble beginnings, Aran Woollen Mills has grown to become an established knitwear manufacturer in Ireland and leaders in Aran woollen wear, using only local craftsmanship and high-quality natural materials in the creation of our Aran Sweaters.
