About Biscuiterie La Sablésienne
At La Sablésienne, the tradition is perpetuated. The Biscuits are made in molds, some of which are still made of bronze; the biscuits cook slowly on metal plates. After cooling to room temperature, they are carefully collected by hand. The Petit Sablé recipe is a closely guarded secret.
La Sablésienne has more than thirty recipes thanks to its artisanal know-how guaranteeing the quality of its biscuits. She thus develops innovative and attractive recipes and produces different textures and different flavors while perpetuating the art of French pastry. Finally, the biscuit factory is a founding member of the Confrérie du Petit Sablé and received the Gastronomy and Best Biscuit prize. La Sablésienne also creates delicious pure cocoa butter chocolates in her chocolate factory. You can try delicious gourmet combinations between chocolate and biscuits but also traditional recipes that delight all gourmets such as mendiants, orangettes and caramel, pistachio and hazelnut pralines.
La Sablésienne offers several gourmet specialties: the emblematic shortbread made from pure fresh butter, plain, or with tasty flavors such as raspberry, chocolate and salted butter caramel, the soufflés which are crispy and very light little biscuits, cat's tongues, gourmet biscuits based on the art of French pastry with delicate raspberry meringues, lemon macaroons, small fondants with orange chips.
