Everything initially started in 2016. I (Simon, then 19) just got back from training in the evening and make myself a cheap protein shake at home. The problem: This tastes extremely sweet & chemical on the one hand and on the other hand I look at the list of ingredients and see a long list of questionable, incomprehensible or threatening-sounding additives and ask myself what I'm actually eating and whether this shake doesn't do more harm than good to my body - the idea of Fairprotein was born. Wir sind ein motiviertes Team aus Heidelberg auf nachhaltiger Mission - den Markt von funktionalen Lebensmitteln & Nahrungsergänzungsmitteln in eine zukunftsorientierte Richtung zu verändern. Alles fing initial 2016 an. Ich (Simon, damals 19) komme gerade abends vom Training und mache mir zu Hause einen Proteinshake von einem günstigen Hersteller. Das Problem: Dieser schmeckt zum einen extrem süß & chemisch und zum anderen schaue ich auf die Inhaltsstoffliste und sehe vor mir ein ellenlanges Verzeichnis aus fragwürdigen, unverständlichen oder bedrohlich klingenden Zusatzstoffen und frage mich, was ich da eigentlich gerade zu mir nehme und ob dieser Shake meinem Körper nicht eher schadet als tatsächlich nützt – die Idee von Fairprotein war geboren.
