About Songbird Tea Company
The Songbird Tea Company specializes in high quality teas from all over the world. Their first tea collection was released in 2019: the African tea collection from a direct trade in Malawi, Africa.
African Tea Collection
For our very first premium tea collection, we partnered with the Satemwa Tea Estate and their local farmers. The Satemwa Tea Estate has great knowledge when it comes to tea harvesting. The choice for a collaboration was therefore made quickly. There are also various options for working on social programs, for example starting schools and nurseries, installing water pumps, etc.
DIRECT TRADE
Songbird Tea Company chooses to build a long-term relationship in a direct trade setup. By strengthening the cooperation between farmer and distributor, advice can be given on improving harvests and processing the tea. It goes without saying that this can only ensure a better end product.
