It was 2011 when Merle-Marie Forstmann first heard about the principle of the menstrual cup.

However, the menstrual cup did not just remain a useful period product for Merle, but quickly became her research object and her passion: In the following years, Merle dealt intensively with the topic of the "menstrual cup". From 2014 to 2016, she advised menstruating women on choosing the right cups and how to use them.
