It is not simply a tin box; it is a container of life. If you shake it, you will hear the sand from **Carbonaia Beach (Grosseto, Tuscany, Italy)**, collected on a summer day when I spent a wonderful time with Elisa and Enea.
The seashells come from **Marzamemi Beach (Sicily, Italy)** and were gathered by my best friend during his summer holiday.
It is a box of memories—mine and his.
At the center of the composition appears a black-and-white mutant figure. Her face has been replaced by an imaginary aquarium in which two fish are swimming, transforming the protagonist’s identity into a fluid and ever-changing space. On her chest, two small seashells become an ironic yet delicate anatomical element, reinforcing the connection between the human body and the marine world.
The tin box, painted in an aqua-green shade, immediately recalls the world of the sea and found objects, while the three-dimensional seashells add depth and texture to the artwork.
A protective resin coating seals the surface, preserving the integrity of the piece.
A small universe enclosed within a box, where reality and imagination coexist in a delicate and captivating balance.
