Chi è Flax & Stitch
Flax & Stitch produce alternative riutilizzabili ai sacchetti e agli involucri monouso dal 2007. Muriel ha avviato l'attività, che è ancora a conduzione familiare e ha sede a Jemeppe-sur-Sambre, in Belgio. I nostri prodotti sostituiscono articoli come sacchetti di plastica per congelatore, sacchetti di carta per il pane e pellicola trasparente e sono stati spediti a oltre 14.000 clienti in 35 paesi.

Cosa facciamo
- Sacchetti freezer riutilizzabili Flaxie Freeze in PUL, in 23 tinte unite e 5 misure, con una garanzia di 5 anni che copre anche gli acquisti effettuati tramite grossisti. Ripariamo prima e sostituiamo se una borsa non può essere riparata.
- Borse e involucri per il pranzo in PUL, in oltre 100 modelli di tessuto.
- Sacchetti per pane e baguette in cotone doppio strato, con esterno in cotone biologico Oeko-Tex e fodera in cotone biologico non sbiancato e non trattato, in oltre 100 modelli di tessuti.
- Copriciotole in EVA traslucido testato per la sicurezza alimentare, con bordo elastico, rifiniti con sbieco in cotone con stampa Liberty o tinta unita.
Tutti i nostri prodotti PUL (poliuretano poliestere laminato) sono testati in modo indipendente per il contatto alimentare (Celabor, Belgio), sono privi di PVC e lavabili in lavatrice a 60°C.

Ci concentriamo su tre cose: materiali di qualità, un'ampia scelta di dimensioni e design e prezzi equi, che manteniamo bassi spendendo poco in pubblicità. Siamo membri di 1% for the Planet dal 2021, contribuendo con l'1% delle vendite annuali a progetti ambientali verificati. Attraverso Tree-Nation piantiamo almeno un albero per ogni ordine e finora abbiamo piantato più di 9.500 alberi.

Flax & Stitch has made reusable alternatives to single-use bags and wraps since 2007. Muriel started the business, and it is still family-owned and based in Jemeppe-sur-Sambre, Belgium. Our products replace items such as plastic freezer bags, paper bread bags and cling film, and have been sent to more than 14,000 customers in 35 countries.

Our sewn products are made in Belgian sheltered workshops (Entreprises de Travail Adapté) that give people with disabilities meaningful work.
What we make
- Flaxie Freeze reusable freezer bags in PUL, in 23 plain colours and 5 sizes, with a 5-year guarantee that also covers purchases made through stockists. We repair first, and replace if a bag cannot be repaired.
- Lunch bags and wraps in PUL, in over 100 fabric designs.
- Bread and baguette bags in double-layer cotton, with an Oeko-Tex or organic cotton exterior and an unbleached, untreated organic cotton lining, in over 100 fabric designs.
- Bowl covers in translucent EVA tested for food safety, with an elastic edge, finished with a cotton bias binding in a Liberty print or plain colour.
All our PUL (polyurethane-laminated polyester) products are independently tested for food contact (Celabor, Belgium), PVC-free and machine washable at 60°C.
Our approach
We focus on three things: quality materials, a wide choice of sizes and designs, and fair prices, which we keep low by spending little on advertising. We have been members of 1% for the Planet since 2021, contributing 1% of annual sales to verified environmental projects. Through Tree-Nation we plant at least one tree with every order, and we have planted more than 9,500 trees so far.
For retailers
Most of our range is available in packs of 5 mixed patterns, so you can offer your customers variety without carrying every design. If you prefer certain colours or pattern types, add a note to your order and we will do our best to match it.
