Material Like the wren, the tray is made of PEFC*-certified wood and then protected with hard wax oil. This is non-toxic, food-safe and approved for children's toys (DIN EN 71-3). Material So wie der Zaunkönig wird auch das Tablett aus PEFC*-zertifiziertem Holz gefertigt und anschließend mit einem Hartwachsöl geschützt. Dieses ist ungiftig, lebensmittelecht und für Kinderspielzeug zugelassen (DIN EN 71-3). Holz, insbesondere die Eiche, hat übrigens aufgrund der enthaltenen Gerbsäure einen natürlichen Schutz gegen Keime und Bakterien.
