Hello, we are Swabdesign.
Our name comes from the German "Swabian" and refers to the region in Germany where Carolin - one of the creators - is from. With Pierre - the other creator - since 2010 we have been imagining functional objects without forgetting their playful side. It all started with a sketch of a coat hook drawn on a piece of napkin between the main course and the dessert. Today, the PINCE THEN coat hook! is a Bestseller sold to the 4 corners of the globe. Our collection of sustainable household items is assembled and handcrafted in our workshop in southwest France. Bonjour, nous sommes Swabdesign.
Notre nom vient de l’allemand «souabe» et désigne la région en Allemagne d’où Carolin - une des créatrice - est originaire. Avec Pierre - l’autre créateur - nous imaginons depuis 2010 des objets fonctionels sans oublier leur côté ludique. Tout a commencé avec une esquisse d’une patère dessinée sur un bout de serviette entre le plat et le dessert. Aujourd’hui la patère PINCE ALORS ! est un Bestseller vendue aux 4 coins du globe. Notre collection d’objets durables pour la maison est assemblée et fabriquée à la main dans notre atelier du sud ouest de la France.
