Wood tile, Elephant. Size 95mm x 150mm Wooden tiles can be used in many ways by placing them down or hanging them with the hook on the back. You can place a single one on a shelf or create a 'gallery wall' from several tiles together. Each tile is handmade in the Studio Carper workshop. We work with natural materials and fluids that cannot always be controlled. This work therefore embraces the imperfection and unique character of each tile. One tile is spotless and the other has a large paint stripe or nice wood grain. It is not possible to capture every detail of every tile on the website. All wooden tiles are Studio Carper works of art from 2023. The prints are made on an iPad using Procreate. The print is then mounted on wood and finished by hand with a glossy layer. Wood tile, Elephant. Formaat 95mm x 150mm Houten tegeltjes kunnen veelzijdig worden gebruikt door neer te zetten, of op te hangen met het haakje aan de achterkant. Je kunt een enkeling op een plankje plaatsen of 'gallery wall' maken van meerdere tegeltjes bij elkaar. Ieder tegeltje is handgemaakt in het Studio Carper atelier. Er wordt gewerkt met natuurlijke materialen en vloeistoffen die niet altijd te sturen zijn. Dit werk omarmt daarom de imperfectie en het uniek karakter van ieder tegeltje. Het ene tegeltje is vlekkenloos en de ander heeft een grote verfstreep of leuke houtnerf. Het is niet mogelijk om ieder detail van elk tegeltje vast te leggen op de website. Alle houten tegels zijn Studio Carper kunstwerken van 2023. De prints worden gemaakt op een iPad met behulp van Procreate. Studio Carper creates digital paintings in an authentic, original and colourful way. The artwork shows the positive, playful and perky side of all life living on our Earth. Digital and traditional art are brought together by drawing on a tablet with digital means inspired by traditional methods. Shapes are usually recognizable, but you will always see a very coarse (digital) brushstroke. Bright colors, lots of layers and playful shapes make every work remain endlessly interesting to look at.
