Founded in 1959, Canditfrucht is a leading Sicilian company specializing in the processing of citrus fruits into juices, essential oils, and candied products. Rooted in artisanal tradition and strengthened by cutting-edge technology, Canditfrucht transforms over 70 million kg of citrus annually, offering a wide range of natural juices, concentrates, and confectionery specialties.
Our two production sites in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto and Rodì Milici (Sicily) are equipped with modern machinery and sustainable infrastructure, including solar energy systems generating over 1.4 million kWh yearly. A 28,000 m³ refrigerated warehouse stores more than 10 million liters of natural juice, ensuring optimal preservation.
Through decades of know-how and internal R&D labs, we guarantee high food safety and quality standards, supported by in-house chemical and microbiological testing. Our facilities also offer advanced packaging solutions including cold/hot filling, “Ultra Clean” bottling, and innovative pouch technology, available in private label formats.
In 2020, we launched Orange Moon, our gourmet brand blending Sicilian citrus with fine chocolate and artisanal pastry. From handcrafted panettoni to chocolate-covered candied oranges and almond-based sweets, Orange Moon expresses the essence of Sicilian confectionery in a luxurious and modern way.
