Miss Nella

After many years in the cosmetics industry, in 2015, we wanted to bring something new in the adults’ nail polish field - a range of peel off nail polish which aimed at working women, expectant mothers, and women who, for whatever reason, could not or did not want to apply any traditional nail lacquer to their nails.
While working on the project and even more after receiving the first adult line, we realised that our children need this the most. Why would we allow a five-year-old to play with a not-so-kind on skin (and mum’s wallet) nail polish? Why not encourage them to pretend play without compromising their health? The NEED to concentrate on kid-safe cosmetics suddenly dawned on us. Six months later, we launched Miss Nella and the first collection of six peel off nail polishes.
The name Miss Nella also took inspiration from the adults’ line, which was Nella Milano. This first line was produced in Italy and the brand name came from “coccinella” which is the ladybird character that now represents Miss Nella. A year later, in the summer of 2016, we had 14 shades under the Miss Nella line, and from there we grew the collection to 52 fun and exciting peel off nail colours.
2017 brought a whole new chapter at Miss Nella: we needed to put a stop to children wearing adult makeup because it is not suitable for or in any way kind to their delicate and sensitive skin. As a result, we created our safe makeup line for kids.
Today, we have more than 100 different items, ranging from nail polishes and makeup items to many different accessories, such as our complete beauty case, the super cute nail dryer, the ever so popular nail kit, and many more.
We have changed over the years, but our motto has stayed the same: designed for kids, loved by all.
