Olivenholzes kommt noch eindrucksvoller zur Geltung. Olivenholz ist sehr hart und dicht. Nach Brinell* 5,9 ca. doppelt so hart wie Eiche. Diese Eigenschaft macht es besonders kratzfest und hygienisch. Zudem ist es unempfindlich gegenüber Säuren und nimmt, dank seiner Engporigkeit, keine Gerüche an.

The solid olive wood products are great. Products such as the bread cutting board, where other types of wood are also used, I find less neatly finished and not recommended.
