About Liefe NL
Liefe was born from the creative passion to make something beautiful and functional from used materials. This passion initially started with old wood in 2009, and since 2014 we have been working with used and recycled materials. The production process of the Liefe bag is a sustainable and fair process, each bag is carefully made by hand and sewing machine.
Recycled cotton canvas, old tent cloths, B-choice and fabrics from overproduction are the main ingredient of the various Liefe bags.
The bags are produced in a small-scale workshop in India where sustainability is of great importance,
The Liefe bag obtains its unique & sturdy appearance through the (re)use of pure materials. It is also a challenge to create a bag with each new design that you can wear in multiple ways. The small bags are mainly made from residual materials, a zero waste goal is what we strive for.
We also recycle cardboard packaging, so your shipping box may not be as beautiful as new, but the contents will make you happy... After all, it's all about the inside (and nature). ❤ Liefe is ontstaan uit de creatieve passie om van gebruikte materialen iets moois en functioneels te maken. In 2009 is deze passie aanvankelijk begonnen met oud hout, sinds 2014 werken we met gebruikte en gerecyclede stoffen. Het productie proces van de Liefe tas is een duurzaam en eerlijk proces, elke tas wordt zorgvuldig met de hand & naaimachine gemaakt.
Gerecycled canvas katoen, oude tentdoeken, B-keus en stoffen afkomstig uit overproductie stoffen zijn het hoofdingrediënt van de verschillende Liefe tassen.
De tassen worden geproduceerd in een kleinschalig atelier in India waar duurzaamheid van grote betekenis is,
De Liefe tas verkrijgt haar unieke & stoere uitstraling door het (her)gebruik van pure materialen. Tevens is het een uitdaging om bij elk nieuw ontwerp een tas te creëren die je op meerdere manieren kunt dragen. De kleine tassen worden vooral vervaardigd uit reststoffen, nul-afvaldoel is waar we naar streven.
Tevens recyclen we kartonnen verpakkingen, dus je verzenddoos is misschien niet zo mooi als nieuw, maar van de inhoud wordt je blij.... Het gaat tenslotte om de binnenkant (en de natuur). ❤
