Les P’tits Fouets is above all the story of a father of two children, Salvio 35 years old, eager to share his passion for cooking with them and whose dream has always been to embark on an entrepreneurial adventure.
MY STORY
After completing my Foreign Trade studies at HELMO in Liège (Belgium), I quickly set foot in the world of work and found my first job in a large banking structure where I learned to analyze the needs of customers in order to offer them the most suitable solution.
About ten years later, the birth of my daughter in 2016 and still in mind the dream of creating my company...
To cook? Enjoy? As a family, with grandparents, with godmothers and godfathers...
Sharing my passion for cooking with my daughter was the trigger. Wanting to get hands-on independently to do “like dad”, she used my kitchen utensils. I didn't always agree because the kitchen often ended up looking like a battlefield: the overly heavy whisk falling out of the bowl, the oversized spatula… not to mention the inevitable stains on clothes. The idea then matured little by little. Why not create real kitchen items suitable for children's sizes? After a year of reflection, in November 2019, the project materialized with the brand “Les P’tits Fouets”. UNE PASSION AVANT TOUT
Les P’tits Fouets c’est avant tout l’histoire d’un papa de deux enfants, Salvio 35 ans, désireux de partager sa passion pour la cuisine avec eux et dont le rêve a toujours été de se lancer dans une aventure entrepreneuriale.
MON HISTOIRE
Après avoir terminé mes études de Commerce Extérieur à l’HELMO à Liège (Belgique), j’ai rapidement mis les pieds dans le monde du travail et trouvé mon premier job dans une grande structure bancaire où j’ai appris à analyser les besoins des clients de manière à leur offrir la solution la plus adaptée.
Une dizaine d’années plus tard, la naissance de ma fille en 2016 et toujours en tête le rêve de créer ma société…
Cuisiner? S’amuser? En famille, avec les grands-parents, avec les marraines et les parrains…
Le partage de ma passion pour la cuisine avec ma fille a été l’élément déclencheur. Désireuse de mettre la main à la pâte de manière autonome pour faire « comme papa », elle utilisait mes ustensiles de cuisine. Je n’étais pas toujours d’accord car la cuisine finissait souvent par ressembler à un champ de bataille: le fouet trop lourd qui tombe hors du bol, la spatule trop grande… sans parler des taches inévitables sur les vêtements. L’idée a alors muri petit à petit. Pourquoi ne pas créer de vrais articles de cuisine adaptés à la taille des enfants? Au bout d’un an de réflexion, en novembre 2019, le projet s’est concrétisé avec la marque « Les P’tits Fouets ».
