The name Kwooksta [pronounced: kwuksta] stands for diversity, joie de vivre and the little crazy things (the “kookiness”) of life. The brand is the joint project of the Austro-British duo Lindsey and Chris. The current collection focuses on a new type of jute material, organic cotton and vegetable-tanned leather. The bags are sewn in cooperation with a small, traditional family manufactory in the heart of global jute cultivation in West Bengal/India. Based on shared social values and sustainability principles, an open, honest and trustworthy relationship has been established with this certified partner. The minimalist designs of the bags showcase the vibrant colors and individual character of the natural fibers used.
