Marianne Ruijter started her own label in 2013. Ink & Co makes the world a bit more beautiful with original prints and quality clothing in small editions. The cotton is completely fair trade and all prints are printed manually, with non-toxic water-based inks. This is the Ink & Co way. The challenge is therefore to make a nice quality product in a fair way. ink is not only less damaging to the environment, it is also much more beautiful. "Water-based ink sometimes discolours a little more than the old, toxic ink. However, you do not wash it out."
