Ikuri

Ikuri is a young Berlin based label for handcrafted bicycle bags. Berlin designer label and Polish manufacturer combine at Ikuri to create beautiful, unique products that you will enjoy for a long time.

The idea for this project was born in Mexico, where the founder lived for several years. There she discovered the colors and patterns of the Mexican oilcloth. Later on, new materials were added, such as printed tarpaulin.

It´s very robust and water-repellent, and it is therefore perfectly suited for bags that are in daily use and have to endure a lot. And they are also stylish and extravagant, a splash of color in the sometimes gray everyday life! Bring color into your life ... a start is made with an Ikuri bag.

In the early days, Ikuri bags were made in Mexico; in a small bag manufacturing workshop in Guadalajara, Mexico. We are committed to fair production, fair payment and long-term business relationships and are aware of our social responsibility. Nevertheless, the overseas production and the associated aircraft transport were increasingly incompatible with our claim to produce sustainably and environmentally consciously. Therefore, we shifted to entrust a small family business in Poznan, Poland with theproduction of our designs.
