The DIY kit contains:
- Raw materials: beeswax and coconut oil.
- 1 amber glass jar (120ml) with its cotton wick.
- 1 small dematerialized information sheet to master the recipe at your fingertips.
The raw materials are packaged in recycled/recyclable kraft bags or reusable containers. The kraft bag with aluminum interior can be washed and reused for other uses.
Non-olfactory, gives off a scent of beeswax and coconut oil when cold (no scent during burning). Has energizing and purifying benefits thanks to coconut oil and its soothing and soft properties. Effective in fighting odors indoors!
Why favor natural candles for DIY my organic natural candle?
The wax of industrial candles very often contains stearic acid enveloped by several layers of paraffin. The base molecule of the wax is not harmful, but under certain combustion conditions it can cause irritation of the respiratory tract. Also, paraffin is a petroleum derivative that can cause certain liver conditions and even cause the appearance of tumors. Finally, the wick is impregnated with borax which is a powerful acid used in insecticides and known to be extremely harmful to the environment.

Le kit DIY contient :

- 1 pot en verre ambré (120ml) avec sa mèche en coton.
- 1 petite fiche informative dématérialisée pour maitriser la recette sur le bout des doigts.
Les matières premières sont conditionnées dans des sachets kraft recyclés/recyclables ou des contenants réutilisables. Le sachet kraft avec intérieur en aluminium peut être lavé et réutiliser pour d’autres usages.
Non olfactive, dégage une senteur de cire d’abeille et d'huile de coco à froid (aucune senteur durant le brûlage). Dispose de bienfaits énergétiques et purifiants grâce à l’huile de coco et ses propriétés apaisantes et de douceur. Efficace pour lutter contre les odeurs en intérieur !

La cire des bougies industrielles contient très fréquemment de l’acide stéarique enveloppé par plusieurs couches de paraffine. La molécule de base de la cire n’est pas nocive, mais dans certaines conditions de combustion, elle peut provoquer des irritations des voies respiratoires. Aussi, la paraffine est un dérivé du pétrole qui peut entraîner certaines affections du foie et même provoquer l’apparition de tumeurs. Enfin, la mèche quant à elle, est imprégnée de borax qui est un puissant acide utilisé dans les insecticides et réputé pour être extrêmement néfaste pour l’environnement.
Elle n’est donc pas vraiment appropriée pour passer un moment de détente et de relaxation chez soi… Et c’est pour ça qu’on vous recommande vivement de privilégier les bougies 100% naturelles !
