For the design of this modern design lamp, designer Ilse Bouwens researched material properties. The Connection Clamp Lamp, or CCL 2, is the result of 2 material encounters: by clamping the flexible plastic lampshade in the rigid aluminum tubes, a special light object is created. The aluminum tubes, as it were, take the lead in shaping the polypropylene.
The CCL 2 is special in many ways. This way you can hang it on the wall. The delivery includes a special bracket with which you can easily attach it to the wall. You can also use the CCL as a table lamp. Place the modern design lamp on a cupboard, side table, in a niche, etc. As an object, the CCL is already beautiful to look at, but as soon as the light is on, a special interplay of lines is created on the lampshade. In addition, the technology is remarkable. The plastic 'hood' has guides on the left and right. By clicking the colored cap into the 2 separate tubes, a connection is created through which electricity can flow. Ilse Bouwens successfully graduated from the Arts & Crafts Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam with this modern design lamp. As a designer, she is co-owner of Heeej.nl. For the design of the CCL, Ilse looked for the limits and possibilities of material properties. llse: "I create material encounters from which a new function arises." With Heeej.nl & Studio Ilse Bouwens, Ilse wants to inspire consumers to make conscious choices. Her designs are therefore characterized by a good story and sustainability. They are timeless so that they follow trends. endure and you can enjoy it longer.
Her lamps are made in collaboration with a specialist lighting company in 's-Hertogenbosch. She does the finishing and packaging herself. The packaging also comes from Brabant and, like the lampshade, can be recycled. LED light has been used, which is very durable. Dutch design lamp CCL is delivered very compact (flat) in order to keep the 'footprint' as small as possible during shipping.

Door de gekleurde kap in de 2 losse buisjes te klikken ontstaat er een verbinding waardoor de elektriciteit kan doorstromen. Omdat LED verlichting op laagspanning werkt, heeft de stekker een netadapter én een USB aansluiting.

Voor het ontwerp van de CCL ging Ilse op zoek naar de grenzen en mogelijkheden van materiaaleigenschappen. llse: "ik creëer materiaalontmoetingen waaruit een nieuwe functie ontstaat'. Ilse wil met Heeej.nl & Studio Ilse Bouwens consumenten inspireren om bewuste keuzes te maken. Haar designs kenmerken zich dan ook door een goed verhaal en duurzaamheid. Ze zijn tijdloos zodat ze trends doorstaan en je er langer van kunt genieten.
Haar lampen zijn gemaakt in samenwerking met een specialistisch verlichtingsbedrijf in 's-Hertogenbosch. Het afwerken en verpakken doet ze zelf. Ook de verpakking komt uit Brabant en is net zoals de lampenkap te recycleren. Er is gebruik gemaakt van LED licht dat zo wie zo duurzaam is. Dutch design lamp CCL wordt zeer compact (plat) aangeleverd om zo de 'footprint' zo klein mogelijk te houden bij het verzenden.

Ilse Bouwens (co-owner of Heeej.nl) studied at the Arts & Crafts course at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. Under the brand name Heeej! she develops her own collection. With her designs she tries to inspire people to make sustainable choices. Ilse grew up on a farm. With her roots in the countryside and her studies in a big city, she realized that nature and people in urbanized areas are growing further and further apart. With that realization, she decided to design a series of birdhouses. She likes to bring people closer to nature and vice versa. So we at Heeej love nature. That is why you will find products in our collection that have a link with nature. Modern birdhouses are a good example of this. With feeding places and nesting boxes we help the birds that are increasingly having difficulty finding food and nesting material in our urbanized and agriculturally intensive country.
