Our partner organization in El Salvador was founded in 1974 and has since organized the production and distribution of traditional Salvadoran handicrafts with a focus on hammocks and matching accessories. The organization currently supports around 30 workshops with a total of around 200 producers.
The weaver groups live outside the capital in sometimes remote regions of El Salvador. Exporsal supports them locally and thus prevents rural exodus and the separation of families. Aktuell betreut die Organisation ca. 30 Werkstätten mit insgesamt ca. 200 ProduzentInnen.
Die Webergruppen leben außerhalb der Hauptstadt in teilweise entlegenen Regionen El Salvadors. Exporsal unterstützt sie vor Ort und verhindert so Landflucht und die Trennung von Familien.
