With your purchase you support small workshops in Latin America, Africa and Asia. By paying fair prices for their goods and respecting self-determined, traditional ways of working, producers are given the opportunity to resist social and economic exploitation and to stand up for their rights and the preservation of their identity. We treat our producers as equals and build long-term trade relationships with them. From the manufacturer to the customer, everyone benefits from the fact that our partner workshops work in a socially and ecologically sustainable manner.
GLOBO is recognized as a fair trade supplier by the Weltladen umbrella organization in Germany and by ARGE Weltläden in Austria. We are also a member of the worldwide network of fair trade actors, the WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization). Seit 1973 arbeiten wir bei GLOBO Fair Trade zu 100% nach den Prinzipien des Fairen Handels. Das umfangreiche Sortiment vereint traditionelles und modernes Kunsthandwerk zu einem stilvollen Gesamtbild.
Mit Eurem Kauf unterstützt Ihr kleine Werkstätten in Lateinamerika, Afrika und Asien. Durch die Bezahlung fairer Preise für ihre Ware und den Respekt vor selbstbestimmten, traditionellen Arbeitsweisen bekommen die ProduzentInnen die Möglichkeit, sich gegen soziale und wirtschaftliche Ausbeutung zu wehren und für ihre Rechte und die Wahrung ihrer Identität einzustehen. Wir begegnen unseren ProduzentInnen auf Augenhöhe und bauen mit ihnen langfristige Handelsbeziehungen auf. Vom Hersteller bis zum Kunden profitieren alle Seiten davon, dass unsere Partnerwerkstätten sozial und ökologisch nachhaltig arbeiten.
GLOBO ist vom Weltladen-Dachverband in Deutschland und von der ARGE Weltläden in Österreich als Fair Handels-Lieferant anerkannt. Außerdem sind wir Mitglied im weltweiten Netzwerk von Fairhandels-Akteuren, der WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization).
