I want to inspire you
• I want to fill children's rooms again with imaginative stories. So they can be children again and dream of princesses, dragons and knights. Instead of watching Karrewiet on their mobile phone and learning to fight in a game.
• I want to teach you again how nice it is to receive a loving card or letter in your mailbox instead of yet another soulless app. I want to give them special gifts, to cherish for a lifetime and to hold on to the beauty of life.
• I want everyone to believe in luck, magic and miracles. Because it is possible! And I will take you on this journey.
• I want to get rid of the throw-away society and create meaningful, lasting products. Something to keep in a box, to bring out again, to stroke, to feel and to experience again. Over and over.
• And ... because even the greatest sadness needs beautiful things, I also want to put my heart into that.
• I want to slow down the world. No endless stream of silly pictures coming at us in astronomical speeds and quantities. I want to make images that make us stand still. Creating illustrations with a heart and a soul.

• Ik wil kinderkamers opnieuw vullen met fantasievolle verhalen. Zodat ze weer kind kunnen zijn en dromen van prinsessen, draken en ridders. Ipv naar Karrewiet te kijken op hun gsm en te leren vechten in een game.
• Ik wil jou opnieuw leren hoe fijn het is om een liefdevol kaartje of brief in je brievenbus te krijgen ipv het zoveelste zielloze appje. Ik wil hen bijzondere geschenken geven, om een leven lang te koesteren en de schoonheid van het leven vast te houden.
• Ik wil iedereen laten geloven in geluk, magie en wonderen. Want het kan! En ik zal jullie meenemen op deze reis.
• Ik wil de wegwerpmaatschappij weg en zinvolle, blijvende producten maken. Iets om in een doosje te bewaren, weer boven te halen, te aaien, te voelen en weer te beleven. Telkens opnieuw.
• En ... omdat zelfs het allergrootste verdriet nood heeft aan mooie dingen, wil ik ook daar mijn hart in leggen.
• Ik wil de wereld vertragen. Geen eindeloze stroom aan dwaze prentjes die in astronomische snelheden en hoeveelheden op ons afkomen. Ik wil beelden maken waarvoor we stilstaan. Illustraties met een hart en een ziel maken.
