Origin Our spirulina is grown in southern Finistère in the Pays Bigouden. It is dried in a dryer at low temperature (below 40°C) to preserve all its nutrients. It is produced from March to October while respecting the environment, in an unheated greenhouse. Dried spirulina can be stored for 2 years. How to consume spirulina powder? Spirulina powder can be sprinkled on all your dishes and included in all your recipes: soups, salads, smoothies, cereals, yogurt... Be careful not to heat it too much so as not to degrade its nutrients. Find ideas in our recipe file. It is recommended to consume between 3g and 6g of spirulina per day for an adult. A teaspoon of spirulina powder is approximately 2g. If you are consuming it for the first time, or if you are starting a treatment again, gradually increase the dose (example: 1/2 teaspoon for a week, then one teaspoon for a week, until you reach the desired quantity) . Gradually increasing the dose over the weeks allows your body to get used to the nutrient intake. If you are in good health and have a healthy and varied diet you can consume 3g/day. If you have sports performance goals, if you are tired, if you are vegetarian, or if you have deficiencies, you can increase your consumption up to 6g/day. Si vous en consommez pour la première fois, ou si vous recommencez une cure, augmentez progressivement la dose (exemple: 1/2 cuillère à café pendant une semaine, puis une cuillère à café pendant une semaine, jusqu'à atteindre la quantité souhaitée). Augmenter progressivement la dose au fil des semaines permet à votre organisme de s’habituer à l’apport de nutriments. Si vous êtes en bonne santé, et avez une alimentation saine et variée vous pouvez consommer 3g/j. Si vous avez des objectifs de performances sportives, si vous êtes fatigués, que vous êtes végétariens, ou que vous avez des carences, vous pouvez augmenter votre consommation jusqu’à 6g/j.Vous pouvez la consommer en cure, ou toute l’année.
