About Besties
Besties were launched at the end of 2022 and after a flying start, the Besties are now available in several stores in the Netherlands and Belgium. Based on the need to let their children listen to their favorite stories independently while doing crafts, on the road or before going to sleep, fathers Jobke and Niek created a new product, especially for children from 3 years old: Besties!
The sustainable Besties listening cards promote children's imagination, language development and empathy. There are now more than 20 listening cards available for children aged 3 and over with stories from popular children's friends such as Dikkie Dik, Dolfje Weerwolfje, Gigantosaurus, Pieter Konijn and Pim & Pom, to some more unknown stories from Wawa the wonder bird.
The product consists of a physical cardboard card and an application and is intuitively simple: you download the free Besties app, remove the Bestie from the listening card, assemble it and place it on the back of your phone after opening the app. The listening friends use NFC technology, which means they automatically play listening stories as soon as the Bestie is placed on a phone equipped with the app. Each Bestie contains between 40-60 minutes of content.

Inmiddels zijn er meer dan 20 luisterkaarten beschikbaar voor kinderen vanaf 3 jaar met verhalen van populaire kindervriendjes zoals Dikkie Dik, Dolfje Weerwolfje, Gigantosaurus, Pieter Konijn en Pim & Pom, tot wat meer onbekendere verhalen van Wawa de wondervogel.
