Reeds grow along water edges, arising from seeds, rhizomes and stems. Sometimes considered weeds but often used for decoration in the Netherlands. Thrives well in wet soils with upright leaves.
Unfortunately, reed is not the most practical choice as a material for flower pot baskets or furniture because it can quickly be affected by moisture and weather influences.
Yet many people liked to use it; that is why people often stick to the name 'reed' when naming a product.

To do this, apply impregnation agent to the same material, clean regularly with mild detergents and occasionally brush away any remaining algae or dirt. Best Style Living sells products made of rattan. It is a sustainable material that is harvested during the rainy season in strands of 5-6m. We use different types, such as srimit, koboo etc. To obtain the beautiful gray color, put the rattan in mud baths for several weeks and select strands with different thicknesses by color before using them for knots and braids.
Combining rattan with different colors using natural materials is challenging. Each rattan piece is unique due to its manual weaving structure.
We work together with local craftsmen who specialize in specific techniques and select Srimit, Koboo grey, pitriet, leles and CL as the material.
The production location carries out processes such as polishing, stencilling, labeling, etc., only toxic-free materials are used.
