I was trained as a graphic designer and learned to screen print a few years ago. This, and a kick in my butt, made me print the first eco-friendly cotton bags, cushion covers and cutting boards with my own designs in 2014. Little by little, the range has expanded, products have been added and lost and I am always looking for products to add to the range. <br /><br /> But I would never have gotten this far without the support and help of my boyfriend, family and friends. They help me at the events where Bee Zonder can be found, think along about cool quotes and designs, give that support when I get through it and have already helped to pack thousands of articles! <br /><br /> The craft <br /> The process of our designs and the craft of hand screen printing is a challenge every time. In the battle with the computer and then with squeegee, sieve, and eco-friendly ink, I make products that make people laugh. Often the designs are a bit raw, tough and sometimes a bit daring. Mostly designed digitally and sometimes drawn by hand. <br /><br /> The materials <br /> Anything that is flat can be screen printed, but textile printing is the best known form of screen printing. From the start I have opted for eco-friendly materials. For example, I only buy textiles with an OekoTex quality mark, paper with an FSC quality mark and I print with water-based ink, which is safe for people and the environment.
