A man and a vision
It started with a man and a vision. The man is Anders Nordangård and the vision is the brand Baoobaoo. In the Småland way and with an unbridled desire to create and sell, the brand got its start in 2010.

Small scale
With over 30 years of experience in the bag industry and in close collaboration with skilled craftsmen in tanning, sewing and fittings, Anders has created a unique way of working for the entire production chain.

Stable and long-term cooperation
The production units located in India have been working together for many years. Here is a valuable flexibility that enables both short production times and orders in small series.

We care about quality
We use high-quality hard-waxed buffalo skin. All our skins are a by-product from slaughterhouses so no animals are slaughtered for the sake of the skin. We keep the skin's natural structure, which means you see the skin as it is. It gives each Baoobaoo product a unique look that only gets nicer the more you use it.

The fittings are carefully selected to last for a long time. The production is done by hand by locally skilled and experienced craftsmen. We use exclusively the market's best zippers from YKK.

Our factories ensure the processes through the ISO 9001 and OHSAS certifications.

We care about the environment
Baoobaoo's products are made with a quality that lasts for a long time. Our design and choice of materials means that Baoobao products age with charm and look better the more they are used.

The skins from our tannery comply with EU REACH regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.
For skins, this mainly means that none of our skins contain Chrome VI and other toxic chemicals.
Our tannery follows the waste management rules to protect the surrounding environments.
To protect the environment, wastewater is recycled according to EU REACH regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.
Our products have metal fittings that are free of nickel, antimony, radioactivity, cadmium and other toxic chemicals.
Our factory is environmentally certified according to ISO 14001.
