In China, we work with a factory that attaches great importance to sustainable entrepreneurship. You can tell by the choice of materials and a great development program for employees. We produce the fabric straps for the slippers in Europe from residual material from the textile industry. Our accessories are handmade and lovingly made by adults in Thailand and Indonesia. In the Netherlands we often use sheltered workshops to support us. For example, to cut the tire sets to size and tie them onto the cards. The employees of these workshops have a fun and challenging task. They feel very involved and proud. We ship as much as possible in boxes made of recycled cardboard. We are also investigating the possibilities of recycling our slippers in the future.
