My father always attached great importance to honoring our East Frisian origins and living as free and proud East Frisians. We have salt water in our veins and instead of breast milk there was East Frisian tea with Kluntje and cream clouds.
My second home is the North Sea coast. But what is home? Where I was born, where I grew up? For me, home is the place that has shaped my soul. And for me there is more than one of these DESIRE places.

With the wind in my hair and a free spirit, I have been living in Hamburg for almost 20 years and I am allowed to produce everything in my small factory that I love since childhood. Mein Vater hat immer sehr viel Wert darauf gelegt, unsere ostfriesische Herkunft zu ehren und als freie und stolze Ostfriesen zu leben. Wir haben Salzwasser in den Adern und statt Muttermilch gab es ostfriesischen Tee mit Kluntje und Sahnewolken.
Meine zweite Heimat ist die Nordseeküste. Aber was ist Heimat? Dort wo ich geboren wurde, wo ich aufgewachsen bin? Für mich ist Heimat der Ort, der meine Seele geprägt hat. Und es gibt für mich mehr als einen dieser SEHNSUCHTSorte.
