A Mar Libre

MY STORY
A mar libre is a journey of reunion and self-knowledge. An inner journey to rediscover my own way of seeing and doing.
A return to my origins and my childhood on the beaches in Cádiz, one of the few places where i have lived moments in which i remember being myself.
A mar libre is a personal project from where i can work putting the process before the result.
Drawing, moulding and designing without being exclusively focused on productivity.
A mar libre is a brand for urbanites who miss the sea, as i do.
I did my degree in fine arts before focusing my professional career in the fashion world.
For more than 15 years, i have worked for retail brands as a jewelry designer.

PHILOSOPHY
A mar libre is characterized by a sculptural jewelery recognizable even in the tiniest pieces.
The collections are understood as lines of research, a "work in progress" where techniques,
Forms and concepts are explored and experimented with.
We take care of the creation and manufacturing process as well as the result itself.
We respect the slow motion, ours as creators, the time each collection needs itself to mature and the time the suppliers need to provide the best quality.
We are after to develop a valuable product for our customers.
Customer who redefines the concept of luxury, and who understands "quality of life" as a true treasure.
Customers who like to be surrounded by beautiful objects with a high energy vibration.
Customers who miss nature and the true essence of life.

OUR WORKSHOP
The collections are produced entirely from our workshop in Barcelona.
We define which production process is the most suitable for each of our jewels.
Almost all of them are locally cast using the lost wax technique. In most cases we do not make molds for their reproduction.
That means that each piece is unique and subtly different.
