At the origin of Plume de Papier there is a passion: that of Franck Males for stationery. From the height of his 20 years of experience in this field, he is constantly on the lookout for innovations. In 2016, he set his sights on an atypical pen. A pen made entirely from recycled paper using a patented process. A pen with slender curves, which reminds the person holding it of the very origin of the modern pen: the nib. The idea germinates in the mind of Franck Males, he wants to develop this pen full of possibilities as well as possible thanks to French values of elegance and know-how. He then began to work with scrapbooking companies to enhance this extraordinary pen. Plume de Papier then takes on an undeniably more aesthetic dimension with superb and worked patterns. He goes one step further in 2018, when he decides to make custom pens. It then becomes possible to affix a precise pattern to these elegant curves, to put this unique object at the service of companies. Franck Males does not stop there, he then develops a personalized pocket for each pen, because for any jewel, it needs a case. Finally comes the latest innovation from Plume de Papier: its customizable support, which gives it a glamorous touch and establishes a strong, leading brand image. The assembly of Plume de Papier, it is Maria who realizes it according to a patented process. At her desk, she precisely cuts the recycled paper and then wraps it around its central axis: the tip support and the ink cartridge that extends it. Once this winding operation is complete, it is time to punch the pen and stamp it with its signature eyelet: it is this eyelet that ensures the pen's reliability and durability. Plume de Papier is made in France from recyclable paper with PEFC certification and the Imprim’Vert label for its production, which uses inks from renewable raw materials for its printing. Calling on Plume de Papier therefore means encouraging local employment, promoting craft production that respects the environment.
