Made with roasted barley malt and peated barley, it delivers a dry and structured profile with clear notes of malt, oak, vanilla, light caramel and gentle smoke. Contact with oak from former whisky barrels adds natural tannins and depth, giving the drink a more complex character and longer finish.
The flavour develops from softer vanilla and caramel notes into roasted malt, oak and subtle spice, followed by a dry, slightly smoky finish. A gentle warming sensation adds some of the character associated with traditional whisky, despite containing 0.0% alcohol.
Highland Legacy Malt is particularly well suited for mixing. Serve it over ice with cola for a simple whisky-style & cola, or use it as a base for alcohol-free versions of classic whisky cocktails.
