The body of the night light is made of high quality silicone, guaranteed phthalate-free, BPA-free and washable. This upper part is detachable from the base: the light box. This one is made of ABS-type plastic that meets all-age standards. The light variations are made according to 3 modes and 8 different colors. Mode changes are made either by "tapping" the pilot light, or by using the supplied remote control. The night light is battery operated. It is recharged using the USB cable (supplied) by connecting to a USB device or a universal power charger (mobile phone charger type). The remote control (battery included) provides access to additional functions, for example the timer function (15, 30 or 60 min).
