After four years living in Latin America, Mário discovered a deep passion for tropical fruits. Through close relationships with local producers, he began selecting high-quality soft dried fruits, guided by sustainability and fair trade principles.

Back in Portugal, this journey became the foundation of TRUPPI (2016)— a brand built from the ground up with dedication, resilience and a strong commitment to quality.

TRUPPI proudly became the first Portuguese company to join the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO) and was later invited to EcoLink.ai, a North American platform connecting quality products with responsible practices — international recognition of the brand’s values.

Today, TRUPPI is more than a brand. It represents organic, healthy food, sustainability and positive impact. Together, Mário and his team continue to grow, inspiring consumers to make more conscious choices and contribute to a fairer, healthier future.
