How Treu-Refill came about:
In 2018 Eva (Production Designer, Film & TV) traveled to Bali with her family and fulfilled a lifelong dream. Of course, she was already aware of the effects of our immense plastic consumption. But to see how we are destroying natural paradises concentrated there was a turning point for them. Horrified by the mountains of plastic in the sea, she decided to change her consumer behavior. Eva started making shampoos and soaps herself. On the one hand, to only use purely natural active ingredients and, on the other hand, to avoid plastic bottles. Because conventional products consist of around 90% water and only 10% actual active ingredients. She wondered if it wouldn't make more sense to focus on that 10% and add the water to the customer first? This saves resources, material and energy.
