The Mama Made is the result of an awesome mother-and-son collaboration.
Irini (the mama) is based in Greece. Naturally, she is the pro crochet technician and
has been working on commissions for all time classic doilies. Irini is full of ideas and
energy, and needed a new challenge. So, Michail (the son), based in London came up
with an interesting way to channel her talent. Being an interior designer – who has
worked on display and styling for the likes of Burberry and Vivienne Westwood
– he is the style master behind the brand (or that’s what he thinks – says Irini).
Together they have teamed up to create a slow fashion and homeware collections that mix traditional handcrafting techniques, seen with a fresh eye.
