Making 100% natural cosmetics the norm. Our story began in 2014, in a small kitchen. Our founder, Dewi, was looking for skincare she could truly trust: products made from simple, effective ingredients, without the long lists of chemicals she couldn’t pronounce. When she couldn’t find it, she decided to make it herself. With a few ingredients from her kitchen cabinet and a whisk in hand, she started experimenting. What began as a personal search quickly turned into something bigger. Friends and family wanted to try her creations, and Dewi realised she wasn’t the only one looking for honest, natural care. She saw an industry full of synthetic ingredients, vague claims and unnecessary packaging, and she believed it could be done differently. And so, The Lekker Company began, with one clear mission: to shake up the cosmetics industry and make 100% natural cosmetics the norm, not the exception. Today, every product we make still follows that same kitchen-cabinet philosophy. We use only natural ingredients that do what they promise, and we’re open about what goes into every jar, bar and tube. No shortcuts and no compromises, just products that are good for you and kinder to the planet. Because we believe natural care shouldn’t be a luxury or a niche. It should simply be lekker.
