Bamboovement sprouted its roots in 2019, founded by Joshua van den Hurk with a vision to combat plastic waste. The journey began with bamboo straws and soon extended to personal care products when his brother Ainu hopped on board. Together with a dedicated team, they began developing innovative alternatives to plastic, utilising sustainable sources like versatile bamboo and upcycled residual materials.
