Kimi is a pre-marked paper kit to make a simple and exquisite lampshade, perfect for a gift and to add a personal touch to any space.
Kimi is ready to fold, which frees you from less playful tasks such as measuring and cutting paper, while retaining the pleasure of folding it using the old Origami technique to create a beautiful and romantic object that matches the interior design of your dreams.
Available in different colours.

THE PRODUCT
Kimi is a kit to make yourself to make a paper origami suspension.
You will receive the pre-marked paper, ready to be folded and instructions to guide you.
To manufacture this lampshade, you do not need any experience or special knowledge of origami technique. You do not need any additional equipment (no glue, no scissors).
The electrical components (ceiling cable or switch/plug cable) are optional, not supplied with the kit.
MATERIALS
Our suspensions Kimiare made of high quality PAPER, acid-free, produced in France with vegetable fibres from responsible forestry operations (FSC® label)
Paper, a recycling material par excellence, is entirely in line with our sustainable development approach!
And that's exactly why our paper is not fireproofed or waterproofed. These treatments prevent 100% recycling of the paper and are very harmful. The use of these types of chemicals is contrary to our philosophy and commitment to the environment.
Our paper hangers are suitable for indoor use and preferably in rooms with low humidity.
And especially only with LED bulbs.
CABLE KIT
The electrical cable is not included with the suspension.
AMPOULES
The suspensions Kimiare to be used only with LED bulbs. Socket E27.
The bulb is not included.
AFTER INSTALLATION
Our origami luminaires are very easy to clean. You can use either a feather duster or compressed air, as soon as from a distance of at least 30 cm.

At Tedzukuri Atelier we design and manufacture eco-friendly lighting. All our products are hand folded in our studio in Paris and our pendant lights and table lamps are labelled [Fabriqué à Paris] (Made in Paris). We present a wide range of models from wall sconces to extra large lampshades presented in 12 different colours and patterns. Our raw materials are exclusively recyclable – like FSC paper - or already recycled – like banana trunk veneer.
