Scratch is an authentic Belgian, and therefore European, brand. Originally founded on a small scale around the turn of the century, Scratch gained momentum in 2012. Then Scratch was incorporated under the wings of DAM, a leading distributor of designer toys in Western Europe. A completely new Scratch collection was born from the close friendship between designer Etienne Ghilbert and businessman Jan Voorspoels. A strong product team went back to the drawing board and started over from “Scratch”. This intense and fruitful collaboration between all team members translated into beautiful designs that always go hand in hand with safety. Over the years, Scratch has grown into a lifestyle brand, using a variety of materials such as wood, cardboard, textiles, metal and plastics.
