Schusters Würzerei

A few years ago I had to think about what I wanted to do with my sociology degree. During this time I discovered my passion for cooking, especially Levantine cuisine. When preparing the dishes, I noticed that I was always missing one or two spices. At the same time, my collection of spices grew, although I already suspected that some of them would disappear in the spice drawer after only one use.

For a trip with friends to a mountain hut, we packed a box with various spice packs so we could cook fresh every day - of course that was way too much. On site, at the foot of the mountains, I thought to myself: Wouldn't it be much easier if you only took the amount of spices you needed for each dish? And so the idea of the seasoning took off...

Since we were founded in 2014, Schuster's spice factory has been produced by the Kaspar Hauser Foundation: all of our spices are bottled in the recognized workshop for people with disabilities.
