Pure Pepper was founded by Anja Matthes and sells pepper from selected growing areas in Cambodia, Nepal, Sri Lanka and other countries. Personal selection on site Anja Matthes travels to the growing areas herself and selects the pepper personally. She maintains direct, long-term business relationships with producers and knows her local partners personally. Hand harvest and individually negotiated prices The pepper is harvested by hand. The prices for this are negotiated directly with the local producers, without any intermediate trading stages. Current harvest and sun drying Only pepper from the current harvest is sold. The grains are sun-dried, a process that helps develop flavor. Packaging with refill system The pepper is offered in glasses protected from light and aroma. These are designed for refill packs and can be refilled multiple times.
