About Poterie Lutton

It is in the heart of the Vendée, in the small village of Four Lutton, that our pottery is made. Poterie Lutton (from “lut”: “clay”, in Old French) has origins that date back to the 16th century! The descendants of the potters have perpetuated the family tradition and today benefit from centuries-old know-how in the field of clay. All the pottery, made from natural materials, is handcrafted and fired at over 1000 degrees to give it strength and durability. Today the Pottery Lutton Factory, Ollas (irrigation jar) and other pottery.
