Papetri Paperworks

Papetri paperworks is a small business founded in 2012, a manufactory in the true classical sense, which deals with the design, illustration and production of paper products. Here, slow design is mixed with the toolbox of 'low tech', all items are made by hand, in small series, and the raw materials come exclusively from sustainable sources. The illustrations and contents are linked to the name of the architect Mimi Mónus with their somewhat surreal world.

The workshop and brand store of Papetri paperworks operates in downtown Budapest, Hungary. Our store opened in 2019 and has been developing dynamically ever since. In the meantime, it has developed from an individual brand into a family business, the two owners are architect Mími Mónus and culture historian László Böröcz. They live and work together. We illustrate, design and produce books, postcards, prints and all kinds of paper products, all in our own workshop and printing shop.
