It is not simply a tin box; it is a container of life. If you shake it, you will hear the sand from **Carbonaia Beach (Grosseto, Tuscany, Italy)**, collected on a summer day when I spent a wonderful time with Elisa and Enea.
The seashells come from **Marzamemi Beach (Sicily, Italy)** and were gathered by my best friend during his summer holiday.
It is a box of memories—mine and his.
The composition features an elegant female body dressed in a black-and-light striped dress, elongated by sheer stockings and high-heeled shoes. In place of her head appears that of a fish, creating an impossible being that belongs simultaneously to the aquatic and human worlds. A real seashell attached to the figure introduces a tactile, sculptural dimension, transforming into a kind of skirt, flower, or fragile armor.
The tin box, painted in an aqua-green shade, immediately recalls the world of the sea and found objects, while the dimensionality of the shells adds depth and texture to the piece.
A protective resin coating seals the surface, preserving the integrity of the artwork.
