Social responsibility and fair trade are just as important to us, as is the case with our heart project FUNKEL: The sparkling ornaments are made with great dexterity by talented women in Egypt and are part of the social project “Grass Roots”. The project supports underprivileged women with few opportunities in Egyptian society and helps them to stand on their own two feet. For example, single mothers or widows can earn their own income through manual labor, some of which can also be done at home.
