Each piece has been carefully selected and named by Mywabi’s founder Delja Blom, born and raised in Japan from Dutch parents. By giving each product a name, the individual identity of these pieces of art are underlined. The Mywabi brand was founded in The Netherlands by Delja Blom who was born and raised in Japan. Blom is a true ambassador of Japan, devoting her professional life to the Japanese culture of food. She was trained at the famous Tokyo Sushi Academy, and she has provided workshops for chefs and amateur cooks for more than a decade. Blom has often travelled between Europe and ‘The Land of the Rising Sun’, carrying new pieces of typical Japanese tableware to the West. The perfect match of deep Japanese kitchen knowledge and refined table-dressing skills is the basis of this brand.
