About Mr. Jones
Mr. Jones arose from the idea that a product is only really "good" when, in addition to high-quality product properties, it has been created in a responsible manner. Really tasty tea with attention for people and the environment is for Mr. Jones is therefore the starting point.
Mr. Jones's goal is therefore to offer its customers tasty and healthy tea while at the same time achieving a fair distribution of income in the tea chain and a responsible manner of production. Mr. Jones feels his own responsibility there, supported where possible by quality marks.
Because Mr. Jones sources a variety of products and materials from different countries, each product requires its own consideration.
A large number of the Mr. Jones teas and infusions is organically grown and certified as such. In addition, a substantial part of the range is purchased on the basis of "fair trade" principles. For that portion of the teas Mr. Jones cannot obtain Fair Trade, an additional cost is reserved with charitable use.
Mr. Jones sources his teas and herbs from different countries and each strain has its own unique heritage. All teas are selected and sourced with the greatest care from the world's best tea areas and gardens and are not later flavored or blended with other teas (single source).
Mr. Jones opts for the pure product, which can also be traced back to the source. Because tea is a natural product, small differences in taste and color may occur due to seasonal influences.
Mr. Jones teas and infusions consist of only natural ingredients, either the pure tea leaf or herb. None of his teas contain artificial additives.
The Chinese teas obtain their aromatic aroma and taste - in the traditional way by adding the natural flower petal.
Choose the auxiliary materials used for packaging
Mr. Jones, if available and technically feasible, for those materials that are reusable or otherwise cause as little damage as possible to our living environment.
When choosing our partners, we will also, where possible, opt for companies that operate in a socially responsible manner.
