First, he is introduced to traditional bogolan and indigo dyeing by a Malian craftsman. With this he familiarizes himself with the characters and language of the Dogon and the various patterns printed on textiles. He soon wanted to move away from everyday objects and works of art and perfected his skills in bronze art. He attended several workshops in Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso and prepared his first group and solo exhibitions. In 2006 he won the UEMOA 1st Prize for Creativity at the SIAO (Salon International de l'Art et de l'Artisanat de Ouagadougou). In 2007 his works were selected by the Hassan 2 Gallery in Morocco and a year later he received the 3rd prize at the National Culture Week (SNC). In 2011 he took part in a creative residency in Germany with three other bronze sculptors and in 2013 in a creative residency sponsored by the Burkinabé du droit d'auteur (BBDA).

Er besuchte mehrere Workshops in Ouagadougou und Bobo-Dioulasso und bereitete seine ersten Gruppen- und Einzelausstellungen vor. 2006 gewann er den 1. Preis für Kreativität der UEMOA auf der SIAO (Salon International de l'Art et de l'Artisanat de Ouagadougou). The heart of Moogoo's products are African designer furniture and home accessories. They are handcrafted by local artists in Burkina Faso. Each product is unique and the result of creative craftsmanship. The artists almost exclusively use recycling materials in the production, such as scrap metal from unused oil drums. Through the symbiosis of different materials, our designers create new forms and purposes inside. Moogoo stands for sustainability and fair conditions: We purchase our products directly from the designers' workshops in Burkina Faso in order to promote transparent and fair sales of your art in Europe and the world. The aim is to create unbureaucratic and uncomplicated trade routes for African artists.
